Infrastructure migration to AWS

Since 2011, the iAdvize platform has been powering our customers and systems using an infrastructure that was designed to deliver a great experience to thousands of websites and customers.

That infrastructure has served us and our customers well. However, we now need an infrastructure that caters for our rapid and worldwide customer base growth.

This infrastructure change has to achieve the following goals:
  • support our usage growth, in volume and locations
  • improve security and data protection
  • improve reliability and availability

With that in mind, we are migrating all of our production services to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform across its European data centers, by the end of June 2017.

This lays the foundations of the future iAdvize platform that will enable us to provide our customers with an improved experience, so they can generate even more value.

What does this mean for our customers?

Between May and July 2017, we will be moving all our services and customer data over to AWS.

We want this migration to be as painless as it can be for our customers, so we designed all the necessary steps to take place gradually and transparently without any service interruption.

Meaning that until the whole migration is complete, you will be able to continue using the iAdvize platform as you always have done.

If you have a firewall restricting access to the iAdvize solution by its current IP, you will need to update it with a domain restriction instead (*.iadvize.com). If you are in this case, please do not hesitate to contact our support team to help you.

Data privacy

As of July 2017, all our customer data will be moved from our current data centers (Paris, FR) to the AWS data centers (Frankfurt, GER). In the future, we plan on using several data centers, depending on our customers location.

AWS is compliant with EU regulations regarding security, privacy, and data protection. To find out more, visit https://aws.amazon.com/fr/compliance/eu-data-protection/.

What’s next?

At iAdvize we are committed to making this migration a success, transparent for you and your users. Meanwhile, if you have any questions or remarks regarding this migration, please do not hesitate to contact us.
