Customising the service button/widget

A default button is offered for your service buttons/widgets (fixed or floating). To maintain consistency with the look of your site, you can change the appearance of this button.

3 customisation options are available:
1/ Customise your button from the iAdvize interface
2/ Create your own button and link it to our solution
3/ Ask our team of graphic designer for a unique design, in the image of your site

1/ Customise your button from the iAdvize interface

To access the customisation page, click the "Engagement" button (1). Then on the links "Notification" (2), "Buttons" (3), and "+" (4).

Almost everything can be customised on your button.

- The name: start by giving your button a name.
- The type: depending on the channels available in your subscription, you can choose to create a Chat button, a Call button, a Chat + Call button or a Video button.

 - The size and position of the button on your page
Note: You can choose not to display the agent portrait by choosing the smallest width for the button.

- The text of the button

- The colour: Select one of the preset colours, or set your colour code using the "HTML colour code" format.

If you are not familiar with HTML colour codes, there are several websites that give you the colour/code matches.
Example: Code # 74D0F1 = medium light cyan, code # FD6C9E = medium light pink

- The portrait: there are 17 different agent portraits available.

Once your button is created, do not forget to save and activate it as the default display mode of your site.

2/ Create your own button and link it to our solution

If you want more customisation, you can also choose to create a button yourself and integrate it into our solution. To do this, your button image must be available online.

To access the customisation page, click Settings > Display settings > Service button > Create a widget.

Start by giving your button a name.

In the Options tab, enter the URL of your button image then save it. Only the online state is mandatory.

To know the different types and states of buttons, go to the article Create a service button/widget.

3/ Ask our team of graphic designer for a unique design, in the image of your site.

For floating buttons, proactive invitations or chat windows, our team of graphic designers will draw inspiration from your graphic identity to offer you chat elements adapted to your website's design, and respect the best practices for real-time online customer service.
