Creating an invitation

In addition to floating buttons, we offer another way to contact visitors using proactive invitations. As these are more intrusive for the internet user, they should be used in moderation.

1/ Accessing the invitation management page

To access the invitation management page, go to "Engagement" then "Notification > Invitation".

The invitation management page looks as follows:

On this page you can:

  • Create a new invitation (1)
  • Search for and sort invitations (2): For the columns Name and Width, a field allows searches to be carried out. In addition, clicking on the column title will change the sorting order of the list.
  • Edit , copy  or delete  an invitation (3)

 

2/ Creating and using an invitation

2.1/ Creating an invitation:

By clicking "Create a new invitation", you will have access to the page which allows you to create and personalise the appearance (size, colour, dimensions, portrait, text) of the invitation.

To create an invitation, you must at least give it a name, then click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page:

2.2/ Using the invitation:

Using a behavioural targeting rule, you can then put in place the invitation you have created.

The visitor sees the invitation as follows: 

Note: An invitation, unlike a floating button, is only shown once per visitor session.
