New way to collect GDPR visitor consent

The message requesting the visitor consent, sent before the beginning of a conversation, is not displayed in an operator chat bubble anymore, but in a dedicated window. This solution changes nothing in a legal aspect, but is much better in terms of conversational experience.



  • to have the new chatbox
  • to check the wording of the “visitor consent request message” in the admin in order to fit with the new way of collection. For instance, delete “Hello!”. Why? Because with the new UX, you don't need to have a “hello” because the visitor GDPR content is not asked in the chat bubble, but in a window.
