⭐️ Install the iAdvize chat on your mobile app - SDK (beta version)

 
Enable the mobile SDK to interact with visitors on your mobile app
 
iAdvize has developed a new channel allowing your visitors to start a conversation directly from your mobile app. First, professional agents will be able to respond to these conversations from the conversation panel. Ultimately, ibbü experts will also be able to respond to these conversations using their ibbü mobile app or the conversation panel. 
 
How can you use this new channel and allow your visitors to engage you on your mobile app? 
  1. Activate your app from the administration 
  2. Integrate the mobile SDK with your mobile app

 

1/ Activate your app from the iAdvize administration 

 
Time required for this configuration: about 10 minutes 
 
Prerequisites:
  • Profile: administrator
  • Version of your app:
    • iOS: 9.3 to 11 and other future versions supported by iAdvize
    • Android: 4.4 to 8.1 and other future versions supported by iAdvize
 
Steps to follow:
  • Go to the following page Engagement > Settings > select the *Mobile app*  channel 
  • Then, click on the “add an app” button (1)
  • Give a name to your app (2)
  • You can configure your iOS and/or Android app (3)

    • To configure an iOS app, add:
      • the Apple push certificate of your app (certificate which allows a third party (i.e. iAdvize) to send push notifications on your mobile app via the “Apple Push Notification Service” server (APNS)) 
      • the private key associated with the previous push certificate

    • To configure an Android app, add:
      • the Google API key (API key which allows a third party (i.e. iAdvize) to send push notifications on your mobile app via the “Google Cloud Messaging” server (GCM)).

  • Once your app saved on the iAdvize administration, keep the secret key and ID app. You will need these elements to integrate the mobile SDK with your mobile app in the next step
