European legislation on cookies and personal data protection continues to evolve, requiring websites to adapt. At iAdvize, we understand these challenges and offer several ways to ensure your compliance.
This article details how to manage your privacy policy on your site, with or without synchronization of iAdvize with your Consent Management Platform (CMP).

Manage your legal consent from your CMP
Your Consent Management Platform (CMP) manages consent for iAdvize on its own: this solution offers you a simple and fast launch on iAdvize.
By setting it up, there is no need to request additional consent when starting the iAdvize conversation. It’s an easy-to-implement solution, but keep in mind that iAdvize will not appear for visitors who refuse cookies.
1. Regulations and privacy outside Europe
In the United States, certain states, like California, require companies to clearly inform users about the collection and use of their personal data.
By default, iAdvize will display a clear notice at the start of the conversation to ensure the user is informed before any interaction.
2. Customization
You can customize the message displayed to visitors:
- On iAdvize, go to Settings > Consent Management > Legal Consent
- Choose your language then customize your message and the link to your privacy policy
- Click Save at the bottom right of your screen
To have it displayed, go to Settings > Consent Management > Privacy and check "Request GDPR..."
