This step of the onboarding journey allows you to customize your Copilot’s identity to create a conversational experience that aligns with your brand.
Here, you can configure its appearance, tone, and welcome message. These settings will be visible to your visitors during conversations.
1. Name and avatar
You can customize your Copilot’s name, which will be used both:
- In your iAdvize interface
- And in the chatbox, visible to your visitors
For the avatar, you have two options:
- Select an image from the provided avatar library
- Upload your own visual (60x60px – PNG or JPG)
2. Visual customization
You can adjust the primary and secondary colors of the chatbox to reflect your brand’s visual identity.
- Primary color: used for Copilot messages and the top banner of the chat window
- Secondary color: used for buttons, suggested replies, and other interactive elements
Use your hex color codes (e.g., #34393F) for perfect alignment with your brand guidelines.
3. Visitor-visible description
Add a short sentence to clarify your Copilot’s role. This description appears below its name in the chatbox and helps reassure visitors about its purpose.
4. Response tone
Choose the tone your Copilot will use throughout conversations:
- Neutral: factual, professional, suitable for all contexts
- Warm: more engaging, empathetic
- Formal: polished and respectful tone, recommended for regulated industries
Tone plays a key role in your brand identity – select the one that best matches your customer relationship style.
5. Welcome messages
Two messages can be configured at this stage. They will be displayed if the visitor clicks on the last Conversation Starter, such as "Ask my question":
- Welcome message: the first message the visitor receives when opening the chatbox.
Example: Hello! I'm here to answer your questions about our products or customer service. - Follow-up message: shown after the welcome message to encourage the visitor to interact.
Example: How can I help you?
You’ll then be able to define custom behaviors for yourCopilot.
