This guide explains how to connect your PrestaShop store to iAdvize to activate the AI Shopping Assistant on your e-commerce website in just a few clicks.
Benefits
The PrestaShop connector allows you to:
- Automatically install iAdvize tags (main and conversion)
- Enable the Add-to-cart feature
- Create Useful Content from a selection of your pages
- Create a Product Catalog
NB : The PrestaShop connector can only connect to one store and one language.
If you are a PrestaShop customer and have already configured your iAdvize account, we recommend installing the connector to:
- Ensure automatically updated knowledge
It is directly based on real data from your website, not on files anymore - Automatically enable the Add-to-cart feature
- Automatically enable the Compatibility feature (based on your Related Product)
Note: the Cross Selling feature is not yet available with the PrestaShop connector.
Installation
- Log in to your PrestaShop interface.
The iAdvize app is compatible with two versions of PrestaShop: 1.7 and 8. - Go to the Modules > Module Manager tab

Click Upload a module
- Download the iAdvize zip file and upload it to PrestaShop
- The module is now installed. Click "Configure"
- If you already have an iAdvize account, click "Log in" and sign in with your iAdvize credentials
- Select your project
- Select the URLs to enrich the Useful Content of your AI Shopping Assistant.
If needed, you can edit the content later from your iAdvize space.
- The installation is complete. Tags are installed on your site and knowledge synchronization starts automatically in the background, with no further action required.
You can open your iAdvize space.
- In your iAdvize space, under the Shopping Assistant > Knowledge tab, you’ll find all your knowledge.
If you had already imported knowledge before installing the PrestaShop connector, make sure to disable it to ensure up-to-date knowledge based only on what is synced via your connector.
Activate your Assistant
If this is your first connection, go to the Shopping Assistant > Assistant Builder tab.
- Click the pencil icon to Edit your Assistant
- Add your product catalog and useful content to your Assistant from the Content menu and publish your changes
- Activate your Assistant
