Do you want to know the part of your sales generated from iAdvize? Sales report lets you track sales generated each day as a result of a discussion with one of your agents.
Unlike the Overview report, which is based on the conversation closing date.
⚠ This legacy Sales report does not display transactions tracked via Google Tag Manager.
It only works with the classic transaction tag (iAdvize.recordTransaction), called directly in JavaScript on your website.
If you use GTM to track your transactions, please refer to the Reports - Sales report, which supports both integration methods.
1. Access the sales report
To access the sales report, go to Reports > Advanced reports > Sales "Legacy"
2. Consult the activity data
From this page, view the volume of sales made on your site and the share of sales generated via iAdvize. Other indicators are available such as the amount of the average basket or transformation time after a conversation.
The page you get consists of 4 elements :
(1) The filter selection:
Filter data based on results desired. You can apply a filter per channel, type of view (agent, type of contact, group, rule, page type or transaction) and date.
(2) Indicators :
You will find the list of indicators in this report and what they correspond to in the article definition of indicators.
(3) Graphics
They show the evolution of indicators as well as the percentage distribution according to the selected view (agent, targeting rule, etc.)
(4) The data table
It presents detailed numerical tabular data. You can do a search, or check the details of each line by clicking on this icon or export the table in CSV format using this icon
.
3. Transactions from offsite conversations
For a conversation held on your website, the transaction is linked automatically: the visitor receives an ID saved in their browser, and their later purchases on your website are associated with the conversation.
For a conversation held outside your website, on an external channel such as Messenger, this link cannot be made on its own: the visitor is not identified on your website until they arrive through a link from the conversation. Two conditions are required:
- the agent sends the visitor a link to a page of your website that carries the iAdvize tag. iAdvize automatically adds the required parameters to the link, there is nothing to add;
- the visitor clicks on this link, which allows iAdvize to recognise them.
The click saves an ID in the visitor's browser, for 7 days. Their later transactions on your website, within your project's attribution window, are then linked to the conversation.
