By default, the language of iAdvize elements shown to visitors (buttons, invitations, chat window) is based on the language of the visitor's browser. This means that for a user with a browser configured in English, iAdvize elements will appear in English.
1. General case - One language per site
However, you can force the language to be shown by adding the lang parameter to the configuration of the iAdvize tag inserted on your site:
window.iAdvizeInterface = window.iAdvizeInterface || [];
window.iAdvizeInterface.config = {
sid: XXXXX, // Replace with your SID
lang: 'en' // Code of the language to show (see the list below)
};
If your site uses the former tag format, with the SID in the script address (iadvize.js?sid=XXXXX), you can also add &lang=en to that address. If the language is set in both places, the one in the tag configuration takes precedence.
If you do not know the iAdvize code to add to your site, this article will show you how to find it: Integrate the Main tag manually

2. How to set up a multilingual site?
If your website is multilingual, you can't impose a single language in the script.
In this case, the language of iAdvize elements displayed to visitors (buttons and chatbox) will be based on the visitor's browser language.
You'll need to ensure that notifications and the chatbox are correctly configured for the appropriate languages. In addition, check agent profiles to confirm that the correct languages are enabled. For bots, you'll need to configure several based on the languages most commonly spoken by your visitors.
