The time tag allows you to define iAdvize display time ranges based on the day or time, according to your preferences.
Â
This is particularly useful for managing your business hours / off-hours, weekends, etc.
1. Principle of the time tag
The time tag is based on a custom data field that is automatically populated using Visitor Scoring rules.
Each visitor is assigned a value (for example: ON or OFF) depending on the time of day.
This value is then used in your display conditions.
Â
The time calculation is based on the timezone defined in your project.
Â
2. Configuration
Step 1 — Create the custom data
- Go to Settings > Integration > Custom dataÂ
- Click on Create a custom data field
- Name the data field (for example: time_tag)
- Source of the data: Javascript setting
- Type of data: Text value
Step 2 — Create Visitor Scoring rules
- Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Visitor ScoringÂ
- Create several rules depending on your time ranges
Â
âš Conditions are combined using "AND". If even one condition is not met, the rule will not apply.
âš It is important that all time slots are covered
