AI Search adds a conversational layer to your storefront search. Instead of matching keywords, it lets shoppers describe what they need in their own words. Your AI Shopping Assistant answers with matching products, asks follow-up questions when the request is vague, and guides the shopper toward a purchase.
AI Search is part of the AI Shopping Assistant. It does not replace your existing search engine: your native search bar keeps working as it does today, and AI Search sits alongside it.
What AI Search does
- Understands natural-language requests. Shoppers can type a full question ("a quiet vacuum for a small apartment") instead of guessing the right keyword.
- Asks qualifying questions. When a request is broad, the assistant asks about use case, size or budget to narrow the options.
- Shows products in the conversation. Recommendations appear as a product carousel in the Shopping Panel. Shoppers can open a product page from there or easily add-to-cart.
- Uses your existing AI Shopping Assistant. AI Search runs on the catalog, knowledge and brand settings you've already configured. There's nothing separate to train.
